Feminism without femininity is fallacious

To be a woman in the millennium is not a cake walk. The march toward empowerment is strong as ever. The mighty winds of feminism, equal pay and sexual freedom are billowing against established norms. Governments and historically followed ideologies and practices are questioned, frowned upon, even vehemently dissented. We are living in dangerous times. But, I smirk at how most people of this generation (the pseudo-feminists) think that the people of yonder were not as bright or forthcoming as we are.

Oh, the false pride and idiocy of a benighted millennial.

Have you ever reflected what the role of women is in today’s male-bashing society? Apart from protesting and fighting for every right in the book, are we doing the things we are supposed to be doing or are we being negligent and taciturn in matters of femininities? By fighting for the opportunity to do all things men do, we are creating a world powered with so much testosterone and masculine energy, its nauseating. What about the femininity and gentleness, the empathy and compassion, the sweetness of being a woman that is ever so inherent in us, but it is now somehow regarded as weaknesses or potent symbols of vulnerability!

Men and women have traversed the length and breadth of this earth for 66 million years. We, millennials are not doing or creating something that has never been conceived before. Yes, the avenues of opportunities are rapidly expanding before us at an unprecedented rate, but to act like we are invincible will be the very reason for our fall.

Importantly, stop with “let people be.” We live in a temporal world where there are actions and outcomes. If people should not be chastened, admonished or corrected, they would become reckless citizens or seasoned sociopaths. That’s how child-molesters and fornicators emerge. My point is don’t get carried away. Drop the entitlement. Don’t be influenced, even if it is through me. Search the truth and apply your mind. Let’s endeavor to be a good breed of human beings. Help one another. Work hard, and always be kind.

And, one more thing.
Don’t be gullible

Peace!
